After being elected in the spring of 2023, my role as the Vice President of the undergraduate Sports Business Society at NYU has been comprised of a variety of different tasks. From simple responsibilities like scheduling biweekly meetings to more complicated operations such as convincing school executives to fund and support partnerships with professional sports franchises, critical thinking and general logistics are skills that have become second nature to me. With each task, a level of organization and precision is required to ensure that they do not become greater problems later on. Thus, I’ve worked diligently to guarantee that each task is communicated effectively with all relevant parties and completed seamlessly. Under my leadership alongside my fellow board executives, our program has grown tenfold: blossoming from a club that struggled to survive to one that invites two hundred members to participate in numerous events collaborating with various professional sports franchises and leagues.
